Elaine Grant (aka MissE) is a textile artist, designer and maker based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

 

Drawing inspiration from children's wonderfully vivid imaginations and the untainted way in which they view the world, Elaine creates beautifully distinctive quirky characters, tactile soft sculptures and playful accessories & home wares from sustainable textiles.

While Elaine thrives on the process of designing and creating her own work, she is also very passionate about encouraging creativity in others. With a focus on enhancing creative learning and health and wellbeing experiences, she has been involved in delivering  projects and workshops that encourage participants to express themselves, shape their own learning  and embrace the process of creating through experimentation and exploration.
